Holiday coloring pages for every celebration
Holiday coloring pages turn the build-up to a celebration into something kids can do with their hands. Each ColorTheDay holiday collection is a full set of original designs, with a PDF for every page and one PDF that holds the whole set.
Right now the category includes three collections:
- Our Halloween coloring pages: 30 designs that range from a smiling jack-o’-lantern for toddlers to a detailed haunted house and pumpkin mandala for teens and adults.
- Our Christmas coloring pages: 24 cute, easy designs, from a smiling Christmas tree and Santa to ornaments to cut out and gift wrap patterns, each sorted by what it can become once it’s colored.
- Our Valentines Day coloring pages: 22 cute, easy designs, from a teddy bear hugging a big heart to Be Mine lovebirds and four valentine cards to cut out, each matched to who it suits as a gift (classmates, a best friend, family or a teacher).
More holiday collections are added through the year.
What makes our holiday sets different
Most holiday coloring pages online come as one long, unsorted gallery. We build each holiday set the way a parent or teacher would want to use it:
| Feature | Why it helps |
|---|---|
| Pages for every age, from toddlers up | Match each page to the child in seconds |
| Age suggestions | Know which pages suit preschoolers, school-age kids or adults |
| Theme ratings, like the Halloween spook scale or the Christmas “make it into” groups | Avoid pages that are too scary, or find the ones that turn into cards and ornaments |
| One PDF with the whole set | Print a ready-made holiday coloring book |
| Free for classroom use | Print a copy for every student |
How to use holiday coloring pages at home and in class
Countdown calendars. Print one page per day in the days before a holiday and let kids color each morning. The 24 Christmas pages fit December 1 to Christmas Eve exactly.
Party tables. Put an easy page and a cup of crayons at each seat. Coloring keeps early arrivals busy and gives quieter kids something to do between games.
Classroom centers. Holiday pages work well as a calm activity after lunch or for early finishers. Busier pages keep older students focused, while big simple shapes build fine motor skills in younger grades.
Cards and decorations. Cut out colored designs and glue them onto folded cardstock for greeting cards, or string several together as a garland.
Family traditions. Print the same page for everyone, from the youngest to the grandparents, and compare the results. It’s a simple tradition that costs nothing.
Tips for printing holiday coloring pages
- Print the whole set at once with the “Download all” PDF on each holiday page.
- Choose “Fit to page.” Our PDFs are US Letter and also print well on A4.
- Use black-and-white printing. The pages are pure line art.
- Try light cardstock if the pages will become cards, placemats or decorations.
