Seasonal coloring pages for kids and grown-ups

Seasonal coloring pages follow the year as it turns. Each ColorTheDay collection in this category is a set of original drawings in one cheerful style, with a PDF for every page and one PDF that holds the whole set.

The first collection is our winter coloring pages: snowmen, winter animals, snowflakes, mittens and cozy indoor scenes, with no holiday on any page, so the set works from the first snowfall to the last. More seasons will be added over time.

How to use seasonal coloring pages

As a calendar. Print a few pages at the start of each season and pin the finished ones on the fridge or a classroom wall. Swap them when the weather changes.

In a classroom unit. Seasonal pages fit weather and science lessons. Talk about what changes outside while kids color: snow, animals that hide away, the clothes we wear.

For indoor days. A cold or rainy afternoon goes faster with a stack of pages and a box of crayons on the table.

For quiet time. Big shapes and gentle subjects make these pages a calm activity before bed, for kids and adults alike.

Tips for printing

  • Print a whole set with the “Download all” PDF on each collection page.
  • Choose “Fit to page.” Our PDFs are US Letter and print well on A4 too.
  • Print in black and white. The pages are pure line art.
  • Use light cardstock if the pages will become cards or decorations.

Frequently asked questions

Are the seasonal coloring pages free?

Yes. Every seasonal coloring page on ColorTheDay is free to download and print for personal, family and classroom use. You don’t need an account or an email address. We only ask that you don’t sell the pages or post the files on another website.

What is the difference between seasonal and holiday coloring pages?

Holiday pages are made for one celebration, like Halloween or Christmas. Seasonal pages are about the time of year itself: snow, cold weather animals, cozy drinks and outdoor play. That makes them easy to use for weeks at a time, including in classrooms that keep holidays out of their activities.

What ages are the seasonal coloring pages for?

The pages are drawn in an easy, cute style with big open shapes, so preschoolers can color them on their own. The pattern and scene pages are calm enough for older kids and adults who want a relaxing, low-stress page.

Can I print a whole seasonal set at once?

Yes. Every collection has a “Download all” button that puts all of its pages in one PDF. Print it, staple the left edge, and you have a small coloring book for a snow day, a long weekend or a seasonal unit at school.
