Fantasy coloring pages for little dreamers
Fantasy coloring pages let kids color things nobody has ever seen, which means there’s no wrong color. A dragon can be purple with pink polka dots, and a castle can be every shade of the rainbow. Every ColorTheDay collection in this category is a set of original drawings in one friendly style, with a PDF for every page and one PDF that holds the whole set.
The first collection is our dragon coloring pages: baby dragons hatching from eggs, napping on the moon, guarding treasure and having tea parties. More magical collections will be added over time.
How to use fantasy coloring pages
Story starters. Ask kids to name the creature they colored and tell you where it lives. A finished page becomes the cover of a short story.
Fairy tale units. Fantasy pages fit nicely next to a castle, dragon or fairy tale read-aloud in class.
Party tables. Put a page and a cup of crayons at each seat for a dragon or knights and princesses birthday party.
Quiet time. Big shapes and gentle faces make these pages a calm activity before bed, for kids and grown-ups alike.
Tips for printing
- Print a whole set with the “Download all” PDF on each collection page.
- Choose “Fit to page.” Our PDFs are US Letter and print well on A4 too.
- Print in black and white. The pages are pure line art.
- Use light cardstock if the pages will become cards, masks or decorations.
