Hi, I’m Niks. Kids rarely ask me for “Sanrio pages” in general. They ask for their character: the bunny, the flying puppy, the grumpy-looking penguin. So I sorted this set by friend and added a school day’s worth of pages, because so many of you search for them. Every page is its own PDF, and the whole set downloads as one file.

Who’s who in these Sanrio colouring pages

Each character is an original design that nods to one Sanrio favorite. Find the one your kid loves and you know which pages to print.

Got a Kuromi fan who swears they’re “not into cute stuff”? The jester-hood bunny pages have bats, potion bottles and a skateboard. That usually does it.

Our favorite Sanrio colouring pages

Lazy Egg Yolk Under a Bacon Blanket

A droopy-eyed yolk naps on a fried egg white with a strip of bacon pulled over its head. Just 15 spaces. Every grown-up who sees it says “same.”

Star Twins on a Crescent Moon

Two little star angels with tiny wings sit on a crescent moon: a girl with long wavy hair and a boy with curly hair. At 39 spaces, it suits a five-year-old who wants a bit more.

Jester-Hood Bunny on a Skateboard

The cheeky bunny rides a star-patterned skateboard past a lamppost and bushes, with bats, hearts and stars around her. It’s Medium (78 spaces), and it’s the one I’d hand a tween who thinks kawaii is for babies.

Big-Eyed Frog Rowing a Little Boat

The frog rows across a pond full of lily pads, water lilies, cattails and dragonflies. With 101 spaces it’s the busiest Medium page. Use three or four greens so the frog and the pads don’t blur together.

Kawaii Friends’ Gift Shop

A cat-eared girl with a bow runs the counter while the golden puppy shops with a basket, surrounded by shelves of plush toys, mugs and boxes. At 239 spaces it’s the biggest page in the set.

Which Sanrio coloring page is right for your child?

Go by age first. Easy pages run from 13 to 43 spaces, Medium from 33 to 101 and Detailed from 56 to 239.

My Melody colouring pages in this set

Looking for a My Melody colouring page? Our hooded bunny is your girl. She has 8 pages of her own: Hooded Bunny Waving Hello, Hooded Bunny with a Tulip Bouquet, Hooded Bunny Hugging a Giant Pencil, Hooded Bunny Baking Cookies, Hooded Bunny Learning Shapes, Hooded Bunny Playing the Piano, Hooded Bunny’s Cottage Garden and Hooded Bunny Mandala. She also shows up in 6 group pages.

Her hood is the fun part. Color it soft pink, then press a little harder where the long ear covers fold. That shadow makes it look like fabric.

Sanrio school and math class coloring pages

Eleven of these Sanrio colouring pages follow our friends through a school day. The bunny hugs a giant pencil, the kitten heads out with her backpack and three friends grin from the school bus windows. Then come the classroom, the school library and a school lunch of rice balls and grapes.

Three are Sanrio math class coloring pages: Kitty Counting on an Abacus, Hooded Bunny Learning Shapes and Math Class with Counting Blocks. No numbers are printed, so they work for counting and shape talk at any level. Have kids name each shape out loud as they color it.

How to color Sanrio pages: 6 tips

1. Give each friend a signature color

Pink hood for the bunny, deep purple for the jester hood, a brown beret for the golden puppy. Keep them the same on every page, and a five-year-old spots their favorite on a group page in two seconds.

2. Keep the jester hood dark, not black

Solid black swallows the heart and the face lines. Deep purple or charcoal gray still reads as dark.

3. Make the food look edible

Pudding gets a creamy yellow body and a darker caramel top. Cinnamon rolls need two browns, and bacon looks right in stripes of reddish brown and pale pink.

4. Add rosy cheeks, softly

Two little pink ovals under the eyes make any face fully kawaii. Barely touch the paper. I’ve ruined a perfectly nice frog with crayon blush, so learn from me.

5. Work big to small on Detailed pages

Color the characters first, then the floor and walls, then the tiny things. With 200-plus spaces, a palette of four or five pastels keeps the page calm.

6. Match the tool to the child

Chunky crayons for the Easy pages and little hands. Colored pencils for the mandala and the busy school scenes. Markers for bright Medium pages, on heavier paper.

Sanrio character facts to share while you color

The friends who inspired our cast go back decades:

  1. Sanrio is a Japanese company, and its most famous character, Hello Kitty, first appeared in 1974.
  2. My Melody, a white rabbit in a red or pink hood, arrived in 1975, the same year as Little Twin Stars.
  3. Keroppi the frog came along in 1988, and Pochacco the floppy-eared dog in 1989.
  4. Pompompurin, a golden retriever in a brown beret, debuted in 1996.
  5. Cinnamoroll, a white puppy who flies with his ears, joined in 2001.
  6. Kuromi, My Melody’s cheeky rival in a black jester hood, arrived in 2005, and lazy egg Gudetama in 2013.

Sanrio classroom and party ideas

The first stack I printed went to my neighbor’s daughter for her Sanrio sleepover. Six kids, one argument over the cafe page, then an hour of quiet. Here’s what works at parties and in class:

  • Friend sorting. Kids sort a mixed stack by friend using the who’s-who table. Group pages get their own pile.
  • Vocabulary hunt. Find and label the abacus, easel, beret, awning, cattails and mandala.
  • Counting. Three tulips in the bouquet, three puddings at the party, four hot air balloons over the cafe, five friends under the rainbow. Add them up: fifteen.
  • Story sequence. Line up Kitty with a School Backpack, Kawaii Friends on the School Bus, Kitty Counting on an Abacus and Kawaii Friends’ School Lunch, then tell the story of the day.
  • Party favor books. Print the all-pages PDF (or only the Easy pages), add a cover, staple it and tuck one in each goody bag.

Teachers, our free classroom license covers what you can print.

Printing tips for the best results

  • Make a Sanrio coloring book. The all-pages PDF is sorted by level: pages 1 to 13 are Easy, 14 to 25 Medium and 26 to 35 Detailed.
  • Print in black and white with “Fit to page.” The PDFs are US Letter and print cleanly on A4.
  • Use heavier paper for markers. Marker purples soak through thin copy paper, so try 28 lb paper or light cardstock.

How I made and checked these pages

These Sanrio colouring pages are original ColorTheDay designs, not copies of Sanrio’s artwork. I look over every page before it goes live. Outlines have to be bold and closed, Easy pages have to work for a three-year-old, and every title has to match what’s drawn. The difficulty ratings and who’s-who matches are my own calls, and the “spaces to color” numbers are counted from each page, not guessed.

Only want the kitten? Our Hello Kitty coloring pages have 50 more, and other favorites live in our character coloring pages. Colouring or coloring, however you spell it, scroll back up, pick one of these Sanrio colouring pages and tap Download PDF!

Frequently asked questions

Are these Sanrio colouring pages free?

Yes, all 35 Sanrio colouring pages are free. No account, no email. Print them at home, in class or for a party as often as you like. I only ask that you don’t sell them or post the PDF files on another website.

Which Sanrio coloring pages are easiest for toddlers?

Start with the 13 Easy pages. Golden Puppy and a Pudding Cup has only 13 spaces to color, and Fluffy Puppy Flying with Its Ears has 14. Each shows one chubby character with thick outlines, great for chunky crayons.

Are there Sanrio colouring sheets for adults?

Yes. The 10 Detailed pages have 56 to 239 spaces each. For a slow evening with colored pencils, I’d pick Kawaii Friends’ Gift Shop, Kawaii Friends’ School Lunch, Hooded Bunny Mandala or Kawaii Friends at the School Library.

Can I print every page as one Sanrio coloring book?

You can. “Download all 35 pages” gives you every one of these Sanrio colouring pages in a single PDF, sorted from Easy to Detailed. Print it, let your kid draw a cover and staple the left edge. For a little one, print just pages 1 to 13.

Can teachers use these Sanrio school coloring pages in class?

Yes, please. Classroom and homeschool printing is free, so make a copy per student or keep a pile for early finishers. The school and math class pages fit a back-to-school week nicely. Just don’t resell them or upload the files elsewhere; the license page has the details.

How to print Sanrio colouring pages?

Tap “Download PDF” under the page you want, or “Download all 35 pages” for the full set of Sanrio colouring pages. Open the file, press Print and pick “Fit to page” or 100%. Each sheet is US Letter (8.5 × 11 inches) with a wide border, so A4 works too.

How do you color a white bunny or puppy so it doesn’t disappear?

Color everything around the character first: the hood, the background, the ground. Then run a pale gray or soft pink pencil just inside the outline, a little deeper where the ears meet the head. The body pops forward and still reads as white.
