Hi, I’m Niks. Kids never ask me for “a toy page.” They ask for the cowboy, or the space guy, or “the one with the braid.” Then their big sister wants the carnival from the fourth movie. So I sorted this set two ways, by character and by film. Every page is its own PDF, and the whole set downloads as one file.
Each toy is an original design that nods to one Toy Story favorite. Find your kid’s character, and you know what to print.
| Our toy | Inspired by | Pages |
|---|---|---|
| Cowboy doll in a plaid shirt | Woody | Cowboy Doll Tipping His Hat, Cowboy Doll Riding His Toy Horse, plus 4 group pages |
| Space ranger toy in a bubble helmet | Buzz Lightyear | Space Ranger Toy Ready for Takeoff, Space Ranger Toy Floating in Space, plus 5 scenes |
| Cowgirl doll with a long braid | Jessie | Cowgirl Doll with a Long Braid, Cowgirl Doll Swinging a Lasso, plus 5 scenes |
| Plush toy pony | Bullseye | Chubby Plush Toy Pony |
| Toy dinosaur | Rex | Friendly Toy Dinosaur |
| Piggy bank | Hamm | Piggy Bank Toy with Coins |
| Spring dog | Slinky Dog | Spring Dog Toy |
| Little alien toys | The aliens | Little Alien Toy with an Antenna, Alien Toys in a Claw Machine |

| Stunt rider | Duke Caboom | Toy Stunt Rider Jumping a Ramp |
| Porcelain shepherd doll | Bo Peep | Porcelain Shepherd Doll with a Lamb |
| Plastic toy soldiers | The green army men | Toy Soldiers Parachuting Down |
Most scene pages nod to one film, so you can print Toy Story coloring pages for whichever movie your family watched last. The settings are my own drawings, not stills, but a fan will spot the moment.
| Movie | Pages |
|---|---|
| Toy Story (1995) | Toy-Filled Bedroom with Cloud Wallpaper, Toy Friends Packed in a Moving Box, Alien Toys in a Claw Machine, Space Diner with an Arcade Game |

| Toy Story 3 (2010) | Daycare Playroom Full of Toys, Toy Soldiers Parachuting Down |

A chubby cowboy doll in a wide hat, a plaid shirt, a vest with star patches and a bandana tips his hat on a patch of grass. All that plaid makes it the busiest Easy page, at 67 spaces. My pick for a four-year-old Woody fan.
A stunt rider in a helmet, goggles and a short cape flies a toy motorcycle over a wooden ramp and five building blocks, with bunting and clouds overhead. Medium, 69 spaces, lots of speed.
A doll in a bonnet and a polka dot ruffled dress holds a shepherd’s crook beside a fluffy lamb. Those polka dots make it a slow, calm page (66 spaces).
A teddy bear holding a strawberry, a toy dinosaur, a spring dog, alien toys, stacking rings, a play tent and cubby shelves with baskets. Toy Story 3 fans will know exactly whose daycare this is. 141 spaces.
A striped awning hung with plush bears and bunnies, a ring toss with bottles, a cowgirl doll leaning on the counter and a ferris wheel behind. At 198 spaces it’s the biggest page here, and the one I’d hand a teen.
Go by age first, then by favorite character. Easy pages run from 20 to 67 spaces, Medium from 56 to 96 and Detailed from 66 to 198.
| Age | Try these pages | Why they work |
|---|---|---|
| 3-5 years | Friendly Toy Dinosaur, Piggy Bank Toy with Coins, Spring Dog Toy | One chubby toy, 20 to 22 big spaces |
| 6-9 years | Toy Friends Peeking at a Tablet, Cowboy Doll Riding His Toy Horse, Alien Toys in a Claw Machine | Small scenes with props, 56 to 61 spaces |
| 10+, teens and adults | Carnival Prize Booth, Antique Shop Toy Shelves, Space Diner with an Arcade Game | 150 to 198 spaces of shelves and tiny objects |
Want Woody? The cowboy doll has two Toy Story coloring pages of his own, and he turns up in the moving box, the tablet page, the antique shop and the group portrait. The cowgirl has her braid and lasso pages, and she drives the camper van. The space ranger gets Ready for Takeoff (37 spaces) and Floating in Space (59), and he sits on the bed in the cloud bedroom wearing a cowboy hat. I like to think he borrowed it.
Two tricks. Color the plaid shirt in two shades of one color, darker for the stripes, lighter for the squares, and it suddenly looks like fabric. And leave the bubble helmet mostly white, with light blue just inside the rim. It’s see-through, after all.
Red, yellow, blue and a bright green look like real plastic toys. Pastels look like plush, so save soft browns and pinks for the pony and the teddy bears.
Boots look like leather with a second, darker brown at the toes and heels. Make the vest stars yellow so they pop.
On the floating space ranger page, use deep blue and purple for the sky. Black swallows the stars and the planet rings.
On Detailed pages, color the toys first, then walls and floors, then the tiny things. In the cloud bedroom, make the wall pale blue and leave the clouds white.
Chunky crayons for Easy pages and little hands. Colored pencils for the antique shop and the carnival, where spaces get tiny. Markers for bright Medium pages, on heavier paper.
A few true things to toss into the conversation:
The first stack I printed went to a friend’s son for his Toy Story birthday. He made every guest color “their” toy before cake, and nobody argued. At a six-year-old’s party. Here’s what works:
Teachers, our free classroom license covers what you can print.
These Toy Story coloring pages are original ColorTheDay designs, not copies of Pixar’s artwork. I check every page before it goes live. Outlines have to be bold and closed, Easy pages have to work for a three-year-old, and every title has to match what’s drawn. The difficulty ratings, the who’s-who matches and the movie sorting are my own calls, and the “spaces to color” numbers are counted from each page, not guessed.

No. Every page shows my own toys inspired by the films: a cowboy doll in a plaid shirt, a space ranger toy in a bubble helmet, a cowgirl doll with a long braid. They aren’t copies of Pixar’s artwork, and ColorTheDay has no connection to Disney or Pixar.
Start with the 9 Easy pages. The Friendly Toy Dinosaur has just 20 spaces to color, the Piggy Bank Toy with Coins has 21 and the Spring Dog Toy has 22. Each one is a single chubby toy with thick outlines, made for chunky crayons and small hands.
Yes. The 7 Detailed pages are full scenes, like the daycare playroom, the antique shop and the space diner. The Carnival Prize Booth has 198 spaces, so that’s the one for a long evening with colored pencils.
Yes. Tap “Download all 25 pages” and you get every page in one PDF, sorted from Easy to Detailed. Print it, staple the left edge, done. Want a Toy Story 3 coloring book? Print the daycare playroom and the toy soldiers on their own for a mini version.
Please do. Classroom and homeschool printing is free, so make one copy per student or keep a stack for early finishers. Just don’t resell the pages or post the files elsewhere; the license page has the details.
Tap “Download PDF” under the page you want, or “Download all 25 pages” for the full set. Open the file, press Print and choose “Fit to page” or 100%. Pages are US Letter (8.5 × 11 inches) with a wide border, so A4 works too.
Leave a thin curved white streak on the helmet, the chest and each boot before you start. Color the suit pale gray, the trim light green and purple, and press harder near the edges of each shape. That untouched white streak is what makes it read as shiny.
